The New Zealand Oracle Users Group (NZOUG) is the go-to community for Oracle professionals, enthusiasts, and organisations across Aotearoa. Our mission is to support, connect, and advocate for everyone working with Oracle technologies in New Zealand — from developers and DBAs to architects and business users.

Who We Are

NZOUG is a not-for-profit, member-led organisation committed to providing education, networking, and professional development opportunities. We serve as a bridge between Oracle Corporation and its users in New Zealand, helping ensure local voices are heard and our unique regional challenges and opportunities are represented.

What We Do

• Advocacy and Community Engagement: We work closely with Oracle ANZ and other user groups in the Asia-Pacific region to bring your feedback directly to Oracle and influence product direction and support.

• Knowledge Sharing: Through webinars, blog posts, and newsletters, we help spread insights, case studies, and tips from within our community.

• Special Interest Groups (SIGs): We’re developing new SIGs for key focus areas such as Cloud, Database, Applications, and AI — a space for members to dive deep into the technologies they care about most.
